We are thrilled to announce that Katie Sanderson has been elected onto Peacehaven Town Council as of Thursday 1st July, 2021.
Katie is the first ever Young Conservative to have been elected onto Peacehaven council and is ready to fight for residents as she gains a seat for the Conservative party.
Katie Sanderson:
"I am thrilled to be the first ever Young Conservative elected onto Peacehaven council and I look forward to getting stuck in straight away working to improve the lives of Peacehaven residents."
Katie has been our Young Conservative Chair and Social Media Officer for the past 2 years and is extremely hard working and passionate.
The main issues are:
- Pot holes
- A259 congestion
- Lack of infrastructure e.g. GP services, a functioning high street and facilities for younger residents.
The turnout for the election was 23.2% with Labour securing 388 votes whilst Conservatives secure 492 votes.
Thank you to all who voted and supported Katie and the Conservatives.
